Our Services & Programs

We at BNJ Health Services bring to the fore medication assisted treatments coupled with therapies and initiatives that targets substance abuse cases upfront. Below is a sneak peek into some of our best services and programs that have touched countless lives over the years

Intensive Outpatient Program

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a clinically driven model based on individualized client needs that focuses on the treatment of drug addiction, substance abuse, chemical dependency, and co-occurring disorders. BNJ Intensive Outpatient Program is geared towards clients handling challenges that include license suspension, legal restrictions, or even termination. These are patients who do not require a higher level of care. Our IOP program is structured & led by trained certified Addiction Counselors.

Outpatient Program

Our Outpatient Program (OP) for drug addiction, chemical dependency, or dual diagnosis issues is a step down from our IOP program. The outpatient program also includes individualized therapy sessions and group sessions. In this phase of treatment, the program is adjusted to meet individual ongoing recovery needs. In the outpatient phase of treatment, clients are provided the tools to help prevent relapse. With these steps in place, we make an effort to help create a system for sustained recovery.

Drug Utilization Therapy for Addiction Maintenance / Relief

Methadone works on parts of the brain and spinal cord to block the "high" caused by using opiates. It helps reduce the craving and withdrawal symptoms caused by opiate use. Methadone is commonly used to treat addiction to opiates.
Suboxone is yet another drug used to generate relief from Opioid addiction. It’s a combination medication containing buprenorphine and naloxone and is one of the main medications used to treat opioid addiction. Using ‘medications for opioid use disorder’ is known as MOUD. The use of MOUD has been shown to lower the risk of fatal overdoses. It also reduces the risk of nonfatal overdoses which are traumatic and medically dangerous.
BNJ is not restricted to methadone or suboxone. We also treat opiate addiction with Subutex, sublocade, zubsolv, and other FDA-approved medication(s). Our medical team works with each client to determine the best treatment options. .

DUI/DWI Program

Our DUI/DWI program is an evidence-based alcohol drug education program. Classes are certified to meet the requirements of the courts, probation programs, employers, and the MD Department of Motor Vehicles. We also provide programs for first-time offenders.
